At Humble Body, LLC, Colon Hydrotherapy is offered as a supportive wellness service designed to promote comfort, relaxation, and the body’s natural elimination processes. Sessions are structured to be efficient, allowing most clients to return to their normal daily routine shortly after their appointment.

To help ensure the most comfortable experience:

• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and preparation 
• Avoid eating 2–3 hours prior to your session 
• Limit liquids 1.5–2 hours before your appointment 
• If needed, choose something light, such as a smoothie or salad 

You will also have time before your first session to discuss any questions, concerns, or relevant health history.

Upon entering your private treatment room, you will be asked to empty your bladder and bowels if needed. For your comfort, beginning the session with an empty bladder is recommended.

You will remain fully covered with a gown or sheet at all times to ensure privacy. A sterile, single-use speculum is gently inserted using lubrication while you are guided to relax and breathe comfortably. This process should not be painful.

Filtered, temperature-controlled, and UV-sanitized water is then introduced into the colon to support the body’s natural movement. This process helps hydrate and soften waste for easier elimination. There is no suction or vacuum involved.

Your practitioner will remain present, providing guidance and ensuring your comfort throughout the session.

Each session is unique. Some clients may experience:

• Mild cramping or pressure 
• A feeling of fullness or warmth 
• Temporary nausea 
• Emotional release 

These sensations are typically brief and subside quickly as the body releases. Your experience will vary based on your body’s current state and needs.

With your permission, gentle abdominal massage may be used to support the natural movement of the colon.

At the end of your session, you will be given privacy to complete elimination. There is no downtime required, and most clients return to their normal activities the same day.
